Requirements description

• BS in computer science or software engineering with minimum 4 years professional experience in software development (7+ years preferred), or minimum 7 years professional experience if no BS
• Experience working on a scrum team and/or in a very team-oriented environment; willing to help drive the project instead of waiting to receive requests
• A good understanding of Object Oriented design patterns, especially patterns that avoid redundancy and promote efficiency, legibility, testability, and maintainability of code
• Ability to deal with multiple projects at a time
• Very self-motivated to work independently, and proactively take ownership of timelines and deliverables
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience working in a global environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS and Angular, React, jQuery
• Familiar in backend frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
• Familiar with the WordPress platform and other open-source frameworks/CMS, and have experience developing custom themes and plugins
• Experience designing / architecting applications
• Experience with ES6 / Webpack, Gulp, NPM/Node
• Familiarity with the following technologies
• Jira, Git
• REST API development
• Redis
• MongoDB

• Team is seeking a highly motivated developer for a wide portfolio of business projects supporting various applications

Your responsibilities

1. Potentially developing applications in various software languages and application maintenance
2. Contribute to the design and architecture of our platform, and help scale the platform to build new features
3. A desire to collaborate with and innovate with our teams (both technical and non-technical members)
4. Work with Product Owners to analyze requests and create requirements
5. Working closely with other software developers, system architects, designers, and stakeholders
6. Presenting ideas for improvements
