Requirements description

What do we expect from you? 🎯

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Services including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or related frameworks.
• Experience with data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, etc.).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup for data workflows.
• Ideally active Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Data Engineer certification.
• Expertise in cloud security best practices and data governance in an Azure environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or other scripting languages used in data transformation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• English to an excellent level - you will use it every day (German will be considered plus)
• EU passport - you may have business trips within the EU

Your responsibilities

1. Design and architect comprehensive data solutions on Azure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines
2. Lead the development of data models, data integration, and ETL processes to support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics
3. Lead the developers’ teams implementing architectures during projects delivery
4. Implement and optimize Azure-based services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
5. Provide leadership in the architecture and delivery of data storage, processing, and integration strategies using modern data platforms
6. Ensure security, scalability, and performance of data solutions, following cloud and data governance best practices
