In this diverse role, you will strengthen our international team by supporting and optimizing our database applications and migrating current functions from T-SQL to Java. You will be involved in renovating existing systems in close cooperation with our team and business partners within the D&B Group.

Responsibilities:

• Managing our German company database
• Migrating parts of our database functions from T-SQL to Java
• Monitoring performance and ensuring the availability of agreed database functionalities
• Expanding the database according to new requirements

Requirements:

• A university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience with MS SQL Server/T-SQL
• Good knowledge of Java development (Spring Boot)
• Good knowledge of MySQL
• Strong communication skills in both German and English
• Independent and structured working style
• Sense of responsibility and reliability
• Willingness to learn new things and apply them effectively
• Curiosity and interest in contributing your own ideas

Nice to have:

• Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Familiarity with GitHub, Bamboo/Harness, Kubernetes
