The Role: Hardware Engineer - Electronics

Helsing is seeking an experienced electronics engineer with a hands-on, problem-solving approach to join their Barcelona office. The role involves working on real-world challenges within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include designing and developing electronic systems, encompassing schematics (SCH) and printed circuit boards (PCBs), from initial concept through to implementation. The ideal candidate will be a talented and motivated Electronics Engineer capable of identifying and resolving challenges, transforming concepts into tangible products, and contributing effectively to an impactful team.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Specification definition
• Schematics design
• PCB layout design
• Test definition and execution
• System Design
• General electronics and electrical troubleshooting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Approximately 7 years of experience in electronics design (schematic and PCB design).
• A BSc in Electronics (MSc is preferred).
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects from concept to validation.

Nice to Have:

• Firmware development experience.
• EMC design and validation experience.
• Experience with high-frequency DDR and PCIex design.
