About the job You will be responsible for providing first-line technical support for emergency cases and planned services to Marine customers and Sales Companies remotely. Your duties will include:

• Remote troubleshooting, identification, and analysis of problems.
• Acting as a technical planner for troubleshooting tasks, coordinating with the "Global Marine Coordinator" to define needed skills, tools, additional parts, and timing.
• Identifying FSE skills, tools, spare parts, and equipment needed on board.
• Creating service requests.
• Handling all major products and applications within at least one BU.
• Performing quality checks on reports and documentation for all service tasks.
• Utilizing a global planning and case handling tool (Microsoft CRM).
• Handing over tasks to the Global Marine Coordinator.
• Training local FSEs and acting as a regional knowledge and skill transfer conduit from Central BU technical specialists.
• Supporting claim handling.

• A Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in the Marine industry.
• A proactive and customer-centric approach to remote support.
• The ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships.
• The capacity to provide feedback from troubleshooting cases and on-board visits within the organization.
• A supportive role for Service Engineers performing on-board service jobs.
• Fluency in English, as the job is performed in English.
