Role Description

As a Sales Specialist for Veeam Data Cloud M365 (VB365/Cirrus) in the Benelux and Nordics region, you will be instrumental in driving revenue and market adoption for Veeam’s SaaS offerings tailored for Microsoft 365. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Microsoft to execute strategic sales initiatives, accelerate pipeline development, and ensure customers understand the value of modern data protection in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet foundational sales metrics for the VB365/Cirrus business, including pipeline coverage, CRM accuracy, and deal progression.
  • Partner with Account Executives in your territory for joint account planning and execution.
  • Lead customer-facing meetings and demonstrations to effectively position the VB365/Cirrus solution.
  • Develop and implement close plans to enhance win rates and reduce sales cycles for VB365/Cirrus opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers to align technical expertise with customer needs throughout the sales cycle.
  • Manage the co-sell process with Microsoft, ensuring alignment with Microsoft sellers and achieving co-sell objectives.
  • Provide weekly forecast updates for your territory, focusing on VB365/Cirrus deals, including key insights and potential risks.
  • Ensure top opportunities are actively managed with appropriate sales and specialist resources.
  • Identify and document successful sales tactics to refine and scale effective sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SaaS, cloud, or IT infrastructure sales, with a preference for Microsoft ecosystem experience.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and cloud backup/disaster recovery solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a solution-selling environment.
  • Experience with co-sell or partner-led sales motions, particularly with Microsoft or similar cloud providers.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Veeam products, specifically VB365/Cirrus.
  • Experience working with channel partners and system integrators.
  • Technical understanding of backup and data protection concepts.
