They are currently seeking a Backend Developer to join their fast-moving team and help scale the systems that power their AI recommendations.

Your Role As a Backend Developer, you’ll architect and build the core infrastructure behind intelligent insights and AI recommendations. You will design and maintain scalable APIs, data pipelines, and databases while working closely with frontend, product, and data teams. Your work will directly impact how customers access and act on AI-driven data.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, well-documented APIs and microservices
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and asynchronous workflows
• Ensure reliability and performance of backend systems under high load
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to define and deliver new features
• Own backend services end-to-end, from architecture to monitoring and optimization
• Write clean, testable code and follow best practices for maintainability

Requirements

• Strong skills in TypeScript and backend development
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud services
• Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL and Firestore
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and with high code quality
• Familiarity with async job handling tools (e.g., Cloud Tasks)
• Comfortable matching and extending existing code style and patterns
• Experience using tools like Cursor to boost productivity and maintain clarity
