Job description

We’re looking for Mid-Level Backend Engineer with proven experience in blockchain development and backend systems. The candidate will work closely with our lead engineers to develop, test, and maintain the backend services powering a multi-chain crypto wallet platform (custodial and non-custodial). This includes blockchain integrations, transaction broadcasting, wallet services, and core API development.

Responsibilities:

● Develop backend APIs and services that support:

- Wallet creation and management (custodial + non-custodial)

- Blockchain node communication

- Transaction creation, signing (via internal tools), and broadcasting

- Internal ledger updates, balance tracking, and activity logs

● Integrate with external APIs for:

- Exchange buy/sell services (and build internal engines for swapping and On/Off-Ramping)

- Price feeds and chain data providers

● Write well-documented, tested, and modular code

● Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

● Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps engineers to ship production features

Required Skills:

● 3–5 years of experience in Java

● 3–5 years in backend roles building APIs and services

● 3+ year working with blockchain integration

● Experience interacting with at least two chain’s RPC for sending/receiving transactions

● Experience working in an agile, remote environment with version control and peer reviews

Nice to Have’s:

● Experience building custodial wallets or working with MPC solutions

● Exposure to security concepts like nonce management or replay protection

● Familiarity with indexing tools like The Graph or custom block indexers

● Experience integrating wallet SDKs in backend flows
