We are looking for a dedicated Data Engineer/ BI Developer to join our Danish client's BI scrum team of six members, who develop and maintain our BI back-end solutions.

The team you will join works in close collaboration with our highly innovative departments and companies, where you identify and build the foundation for their new BI reports. Reports covering everything from working environment, diversity, IOT machine data to the more financial.

Our team is at the forefront of digitization and automation, focused on streamlining the way we work by processing and presenting data through Business Intelligence tools. The role involves collaborating with various departments to develop insightful BI reports that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain BI back-end solutions.

2. Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement new BI reporting frameworks.

3. Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to colleagues.

4. Facilitate the transition to cloud environments and integrate new data sources.

5. Contribute to the development and execution of our digital strategies.

6. Identify and implement new data sources and improve existing data frameworks.

7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements for BI initiatives.

8. Analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.

9. Contribute to cloud integration and Data Lakehouse projects.

Key Requirements

1. +3 years of experience in BI area

2. Experience in Business Intelligence and data analysis.

3. Strong understanding of Python and SQL at an advanced level.

4. Strong Experience with Databricks

5. Basic experience with DevOps practices

6. Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, particularly Azure.

7. Capacity to perform dimensional data modeling.

8. Experience with structured and unstructured data sources (API, SQL).

9. Adept at communicating complex ideas effectively.

10. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward technological advancements.

Nice to Have

1. Familiarity Data Factory.

2. Knowledge of MS Dynamics and process automation.

Familiarity with Power BI and data transformation tools.
