Job description

At XtraMile we develop an e-learning automation platform and we help companies succeed by automating employee training.

We have two offices: Oslo (sales, marketing, and support departments) and Gdansk (engineering and content creation). Team members cite the relaxed atmosphere and lack of corporate vibe as huge advantages. In addition, they appreciate the freedom to make choices, to have a real say in decisions, and the opportunity to learn from each other.

We are looking for an experienced .NET Fullstack Engineer who will play a crucial role within our engineering team.

Example of our upcoming features, which you will be building:

• Applying new fancy 2025 design to our platform (new branding, animations, transitions)

• Introducing new question types to quizzes

• Confirming completion of activities with QR codes

• Delivering e-learning content by SMS

• Integrating with a phishing service

• Applying AI tokens limits for our AI features

What you can expect when joining us:

• Work on one product with multiple domains and integrations. Building stable and maintainable software.

• Tech stack: .Net 9+, React, Azure: Functions, SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Service Bus, SignalR, Azure CDN

• AI API integrations (OpenAI, Google) for content creation (text + videos)

• Automated Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

• As part of the platform, we develop integrations with: Azure Entra, Google Workspace, OpenAI, Stability AI API, HubSpot, Ms Graph, Microsoft Teams

• Working on new functionalities (about 70% of the time), and the rest on support + maintenance

• Influence on the solution and selection of tools

• Access to the latest technologies (e.g. Copilot, GPT Plus)

• Flexible working hours and hybrid work. We have a well-located office in Gdansk Garnizon (with fully equipped kitchen, bicycle parking, and car parking) and excellent working tools (height-adjustable desks, powerful laptops)

What we expect from you:

• 4+ years of experience developing web applications in .Net/C#

• 2+ years of experience developing web applications in Typescript (React)

• Good understanding of cloud concepts, with specific experience in Azure

• Willingness to develop in AI area

• Knowledge of SQL (Dapper, Entity Framework or EF Core)

• Knowledge of NoSQL (we use Azure CosmosDB)

• Ability to communicate in Polish and English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of DevOps engineering (Azure DevOps)

• Prompt engineering experience

• Skills in writing e2e tests in Playwright

• Experience in automation of DevOps infrastructure (Arm, Bicep, PS)

• Knowledge of integration with AI solutions (e.g. openAI API, Google Gemini API, Anthropic)

• Phone screening (20 minutes)

• Technical interview ( 1.5-2 h)

• Interview with XtraMile founder - culture fit (30 minutes)

How do we work:

We meet once a week in our office, mostly on Tuesdays; on other days, we work from home.

We have a well-located office in Gdansk Garnizon (with a fully equipped kitchen, bicycle parking, and car parking) and excellent working tools (height-adjustable desks, powerful laptops).

We are looking for candidates only from the Trójmiasto area. We don't provide relocation packages.
