Staff Software Engineer QA

We have a variety of online travel platforms that cater to different aspects of travel and accommodation. These platforms include Invia.cz, travelplanet.pl, which offers a wide range of summer and winter tours; Ab-in-den-Urlaub.de, which provides last-minute trips, vacation packages, apartments, flights, rental cars, and a platform that provides flight offers from over 550 airlines; and several others, each specializing in various facets of travel and accommodation.

Your responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy, processes, and best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend services
• Work with tools such as Playwright for end-to-end testing and BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality at every stage of the development lifecycle
• Mentor and guide QA engineers and developers on testing strategies and quality standards
• Establish metrics and reporting to track and improve product quality
• Team player and good communication skills to work effectively with other teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, including in an agile environment.

Our requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Playwright or Cypress
• Experience with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platforms
• Solid knowledge of programming/scripting languages/frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Typescript, React)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• A passion for quality and a strong attention to detail
