WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience of developing distributed high-load systems
• Deep expertise in Node.js
• Experience building desktop applications with Electron
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Experience with AWS lambda
• Familiarity with containerization tools, especially Docker
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High standards for code quality, performance, and user experience
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate to advanced level

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Knowledge of React/Next.js and willingness to contribute to front-end
• Previous experience in a distributed, cross-cultural agile team
• Exposure to AI-driven products or related technologies (including MCP)

PROJECT

Our Customer is a US-based startup which is dedicated to transforming enterprise productivity through its highly-contextual, multimodal AI assistant. Designed as a Swiss Army knife for every employee, the AI assistant streamlines a wide array of daily workflows, encompassing everything from expense reporting and meeting coordination to efficient information retrieval and intelligent task automation. At the heart of the product is a commitment to enterprise-grade security.

We’re looking for a Senior Developer with deep experience in Node.js and proven experience with Electron to join the product development from scratch.

You’ll be working on an ambitious, technically challenging project using a modern stack including MCP, Node.js, Next.js, Electron, AWS/GCP, Lambdas. Your responsibilities

1. Drive end-to-end feature development: from design and architecture to implementation and improvement
2. Develop solution backend based on TypeScript/Node.js with fractional use of AWS Lambdas (Rust)
3. Collaborate with the Product Owner, Product Designer and Tech Lead to help define the technical vision and roadmap
4. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
5. Work closely with a distributed engineering team in a dynamic, agile environment
