Requirements description

Must have:

- 6+ years of professional software development experience.

- Professional experience building web-based single page applications, using React/Typescript.

- Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript-based backend development.

- Solid understanding of software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, ER modeling).

- Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native services and APIs.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build tools and version control systems (Git/GitHub).

- Strong focus on code quality, including automated testing and code reviews.

Nice to have:

- Background in financial services, fintech, or insurtech.

- Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring).

- Prior involvement in mentoring or technical leadership.

- Experience with mobile-first or cross-platform UI development.

- Hands-on experience in rapid prototyping and innovation workstreams.

Additional:

- Valid passport and readiness to travel to the UK for initial onboarding.

- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

The multi-disciplinary team combines software engineering, data science, and platform operations. They emphasize high-impact feature delivery through agile, analytical development processes in a collaborative environment.

ABOUT PROJECT

The team develops a high-impact, cloud-native platform powering key business operations and revenue generation. The platform combines advanced web interfaces with scalable backend services, integrating modern tech stacks, cloud infrastructure, and data capabilities. Engineers collaborate cross-functionally and iterate rapidly to deliver core platform features driving business growth.

Location: remote work, but business trips to London may occur.

After hiring, the first 2-3 days are spent visiting the Client in London and collecting the equipment.
