• 8+ years of experience in ABAP development.
• Experience in software architecture.
• Experience in SAP Cloud Integration and BTP Services.
• Expertise in ABAP on Cloud and RESTful Application Programming (RAP) frameworks.
• Proficiency in CDS Views, OData services.
• Proven experience in leading teams and delivering large-scale projects.
• Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in a SCRUM-like environment.
• Language skills: English C1, German B2.

Offer description

One of our Clients is building a new SAP team and needs Lead ABAP Developer.

Location: remote.

Start date: 01.11.2025.

Engagement: Long-term collaboration.

Business trips: 3/year to Germany for team workshops 2-3 business days per one trip.

Lead Developer must have in-depth knowledge of the current ABAP Cloud variant. This includes proficiency with the following development environments and tools:

• Eclipse with ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or Visual Studio Code with Fiori Add-on.
• Experience with SAPUI5 in combination with OData V4 is explicitly desired for front-end development.
• The ability to develop modern, user-friendly, and high-performance Fiori applications is essential.
• In addition, solid knowledge of Git for source code versioning is required. A professional approach to branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews in a collaborative development process is expected.
