• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or backend/fullstack development
• Strong command of SQL
• Proficiency in Python

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git
• Availability to work during 7:00–15:00 CET
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to Have:

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Senior Azure Data Engineer with Databricks to support the expansion of a data engineering team delivering projects for one of the world’s leading airlines (Aviation industry).

Your daily responsibilities will include designing, building, and deploying large-scale infrastructure, focused on distributed systems. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining architectural data processing patterns, defining and implementing workflows and system integrations using Big Data and Cloud technologies.

You will translate technical designs into high-quality code following industry best practices, build reusable components, automate data analysis, support data modeling, validation, and deployment workflows, and monitor performance while recommending infrastructure improvements.

A key aspect of the role will be collaboration with analysts and data scientists, as well as promoting good software engineering practices. The position is fully remote, with working hours from 7:00 to 15:00 CET.
