We are seeking a talented, motivated, and proactive Junior QA engineer to join the team. You will be working on both the software and hardware components of storage systems while collaborating closely with the QA team.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in testing software
• Engineering or engineering-related degree
• Basic knowledge of electronics and computer hardware, especially storage devices
• Familiar with major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Basic knowledge of hardware/software testing principles
• Understanding of software protocols is beneficial
• Any experience with creating and maintaining test documentation is a plus
• Basic skills in analyzing and reporting bugs
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• At least Intermediate English (both spoken and written)
• Previous experience in hardware testing is a significant advantage

As a plus:

• Testing experience with embedded file systems.
• Hardware testing experience.

Your responsibilities

1. Perform software testing of network storage devices.
2. Develop and execute manual tests.
3. Analyze and report bugs, ensuring clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
5. Prepare and deliver regular testing status reports.
6. Participate in meetings with the client and the team to align on requirements and updates.
