Requirements description

• Strong production experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Proven ability to design and scale REST APIs
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi)
• Strong database skills: PostgreSQL (preferred) and/or MongoDB
• Proficient in TypeScript across backend and frontend codebases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, React Query, TailwindCSS, or Shadcn UI
• Interest in AI/ML platforms or working with tools like OpenAI, ElevenLabs

Your responsibilities

1. Build and maintain performant, scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS
2. Design APIs, own database architecture (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and support AI integrations
3. Architect AWS-based infrastructure using modern IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
4. Collaborate with the frontend team (React, TailwindCSS, Shadcn UI) on feature delivery
5. Drive automation, observability, CI/CD improvements (GitHub Actions)
6. Influence key decisions around scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
