Requirements description

• At least 2 years of professional experience working as a Python Engineer or ML Engineer in an industry setting.
• Strong Python programming skills ( must-have).
• Experience writing production-grade code for ML or data-intensive systems.
• Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure (pipelines, deployment, monitoring).
• Proficiency with Azure ecosystem (Databricks, Azure ML, ADF, Azure Functions, etc.).
• Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience extracting data from databases.
• Understanding of data science workflows, without the need to build models yourself.
• Good software engineering practices: clean code, CI/CD, testing, version control.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global setup.
• Fluent English – you’ll communicate with international colleagues daily.

Currently, we are looking for a Python Engineer (Machine Learning Focus) to support our partner in developing a Global Analytics unit – a centralized team dedicated to strengthening data-driven decision-making and creating smart data products for day-to-day operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in engineering environments, enjoys building ML infrastructure and pipelines, and wants to grow in the field of MLOps. Note: this is not a model development role – Data Scientists handle modeling; you’ll focus on engineering and productionization.

Your responsibilities

1. Develop production-level ML libraries and reusable Python components for existing and future data products.
2. Improve and maintain ML infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
3. Design and implement scalable and efficient model training workflows for large-scale applications.
4. Build and maintain robust, reproducible, and traceable ML pipelines.
5. Optimize data ingestion and feature engineering processes.
6. Write high-quality Python code in line with engineering best practices.
