Requirements description

Minimum requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, primarily using Python

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Django in production environments

• Deep expertise in SQL database design, indexing, query optimization, and data modeling. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Solid experience with building RESTful APIs

• Proficiency in writing unit/integration tests

• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Datadog)

• Proficiency using Git

• Solid understanding of the importance of code structure, readability, reusability, and typing

• Experience using AWS and/or other cloud services, with a focus on products such as EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, and Cognito (or similar technologies).

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work independently

Bonus points:

• Experience with Docker

• Experience with asynchronous job processing (Celery/Redis)

• Experience with LLM integrations and prompt engineering (OpenAI API)

• Knowledge of async Django or Django Channels(Daphne)
