Requirements description

What you bring

• 6+ years of web development experience, ideally across frontend and backend (LAMP stack)
• 2+ years of Tech Lead experience
• Fluent in multiple programming languages (PHP, Python, Go, TypeScript)
• Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony
• Solid understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC)
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience with RDBMS (schema design, indices, caching)
• Experience with testing and automation tools (e.g. PHPUnit, Codeception, Behat)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Ability to identify and solve performance and scalability challenges
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to drive meaningful change
• EU citizenship

You will be fully integrated into our client’s remote engineering team operations and dynamics.

As a Team Lead, you’ll guide a team of 2–4 engineers responsible for all tour and operator content integrations, booking APIs, and internal tools that power high-quality travel experiences. You’ll combine hands-on coding with architecture and mentoring, working closely with the COO to shape the backend of Adventure Booking Platform.
