Your responsibilities

• Team & Process Management
• Lead and develop a team responsible for billing and credit control processes;
• Allocate work effectively and ensure service delivery meets agreed KPIs and SLAs;
• Monitor performance and quality of billing and collections activities;
• Ensure proper documentation and process controls are in place;
• Drive knowledge transfer, team onboarding, and ensure strong backup structures;
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and high service quality.
• Billing & Credit Control Operations
• Oversee client invoicing, including e-billing and compliance with billing policies;
• Manage credit control activities – reminders, follow-ups, and cash collection;
• Support monthly billing and cash targets and month-end processes;
• Act as local expert on billing tools and client accounting procedures;
• Support reporting, data analysis, and quality checks related to billing performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as the main point of contact for local finance teams and global managers;
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different countries;
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to ensure client satisfaction;
• Support global process improvements and participate in transformation projects.

Employer requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in finance, preferably in billing, accounts receivable, or credit control;
• At least 3–5 years of experience in team leadership in an international environment (GBS/SSC);
• Fluent English must have (good German nice to have);
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and Excel;
• Experience with process transitions or finance transformation is a strong advantage;
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to build relationships across cultures;
• Problem-solving mindset and focus on service excellence;
• Degree in finance, accounting or related field (ACCA/CIMA preferred but not required).
