About the project

• We're looking for a talented QA Engineer with strong Java skills to join our team. • Role is for remote work but with 1 visit per month (2 days) to Warsaw office.

Your responsibilities

• Own, drive and improve of testing process within a development team following Agile methodology
• Design, create, run and maintain manual and/or automated functional and non-functional tests in technology agnostic approach
• Share knowledge and know-how inside and outside the team
• Mentor less experienced team members

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience in multi-tier web-based applications
• Experience of testing within Agile development at a scale. Previous work experience in multi-team environments, close collaboration with developers, project managers and clients
• Having hands on experience in test automation, integration with CI/CD
• able to test integrations and messaging, familiarity with on of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
• able to test Java/Spring based application with Java,
• JUnit, RestAssured, Postman, able to use Linux shell, familiar with Docker and Kubernetes,
• Bug prevention and fail-fast mindset
• Mindset for knowledge sharing
• Proven analytical ability, problem-solving and risk management skills
• Visits in our Warsaw office (1 time a month)
• Fluent communication in English

Optional

• able to write tests in Playwright, familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog or Dynatrace, able to use Grafana dashboards, practical knowledge of Testcontainers
• AND/OR (at least one of the below):
• Having hands on experience or a good understanding of performance, security, usability
• Experience with complex backend applications and enterprise system architecture
