About the project

• The SabreMosic Platform Technical Services team is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer.
• At Sabre, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will play a key role in accelerating SabreMosaic’s time-to-market. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and user-centric identity and access management solutions in GCP environment.

Your responsibilities

• Software Development & Collaboration - Design, develop, and test software applications, including cloud-based and internet-related tools (GCP, GKE). Apply hands-on experience in Java and cloud solutions tools to drive development efficiency.
• Security & Compliance - Enforce security best practices, including secrets management, security scans, and compliance with industry standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with SabreMosaic teams, CIAS teams and operations teams to align software development, quality, DevOps and SDLC practices.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Create and maintain documentation for services, frameworks and tools. Engage with peers and stakeholders, presenting technical insights and solutions.

Our requirements

• Typically, 7-9 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with limited years of experience; or equivalent work experience (cloud based tech/languages, technology stacks, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Unix/Linux platform
• Hands on experience with Java v.11+ software development
• Hands on experience with at least some of the following technologies: Bash (scripting), Cloud solutions, Python, Ansible, Jenkins pipeline.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools
• Openness to learning and improving quality practices (e.g. smoke tests, acceptance tests, integration tests)
