Your responsibilities

  • Role Summary
  • We are seeking an experienced and people-centric Supply Chain Manager with strong operational roots in the automotive industry. The role covers full responsibility for inbound and outbound logistics, customs operations, intercompany transfers, inventory management and material availability across two production sites: a central logistics hub and a smaller support site.
  • You will lead a team of ~200 people, including five direct-report managers and logistics staff across both locations. The position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in operations. You will be expected to drive cost optimization, ensure supply continuity, and champion continuous improvement across all areas of logistics execution.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • - Participate in the development of the Company's logistics strategy and its implementation.
  • - Manage full end-to-end logistics: inbound materials, outbound deliveries, customs operations and intercompany flows.
  • - Oversee two logistics-heavy sites (central SC and a satellite site).
  • - Lead and coach local logistics managers: warehouse, outbound, export, production procurement and logistics process optimization.
  • - Monitor daily KPIs: material issuance to production, inventory levels, transport costs, delivery performance.
  • - Drive continuous improvement in stock management, transport flows, and internal logistics operations.
  • - Ensure 100% material availability for production with optimized stock levels across >20,000 SKUs.
  • - Coordinate shipments to clients under a demanding JIT framework.
  • - Maintain compliance with customs, export regulations, and group SC policies.
  • - Support logistics cost management and drive local efficiency initiatives.
  • - Foster a culture of collaboration and proactive problem solving across teams.
  • - Inspire and guide a long-tenured team through transition and growth.
  • - Carry out and supervise investment processes related to the logistics area.

Our requirements

  • Must-Have Experience:
  • - Technical or economic university degree
  • - Minimum 7–10 years of experience in supply chain/logistics in the automotive industry – high-mix assembly a strong asset within international environment
  • - Proven experience managing large logistics teams (100+), ideally in multi-site operations (min. 10 years)
  • - Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, intercompany logistics and customs.
  • - Hands-on experience with ERP-based inventory management and JIT delivery models.
  • - Familiarity with inventory strategies: ABC/XYZ, Kanban, consignment, VMI. - High analytical competence and solid Excel/reporting skills.
  • - Knowledge of materials and products used in the automotive industry.
  • - Knowledge of modern supply chain management methods (including Lean, 5S,Kanban).
  • - Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/16949 quality systems requirements.
  • - Knowledge of the principles of international commodity and material trading and their necessary documentation
  • Leadership & Soft Skills:
  • - Strong leadership presence with ability to earn trust of a senior, stable workforce.
  • - Collaborative mindset – capable of building partnerships across departments and sites. - Mature communication style – able to give and receive feedback, manage up and down. - Empathetic and people-oriented – inspires through respect and clarity, not authority.
  • - High emotional intelligence, sense of humor and a “no-drama” attitude.
  • - Comfortable navigating matrix structures and complex stakeholder environments.
  • - Fluent in English (C1) and Polish (native).
