Your responsibilities

• FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our client in the financial sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of secure, high-performance software solutions that support global financial operations. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working on cloud-oriented systems, developing features used across trading, risk, and financial reporting.
• In this role, you’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, from gathering technical requirements to building and maintaining applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend. You’ll write clean, maintainable code, support testing and deployment, and take part in Agile development processes, including CI/CD and code reviews.
• Working closely with engineers, analysts, and DevOps specialists, you’ll gain hands-on experience with modern development practices and have the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment. This role offers a clear development path, structured support, and exposure to impactful, real-world projects.

Our requirements

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have solid experience with Java and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• You are familiar with React or are open to working across the frontend stack.
• You have a genuine interest in the financial services domain.
• You are based in Poland and have the right to work.
