• Job Description: Process & Quality Engineer – Stainless Steel Fabrication

• Job Summary:
• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Process & Quality Engineer to support set up and continuously improve our stainless steel tanks fabrication technological process. This role is responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in stainless steel fabrication, quality systems, and process engineering.
• Key Responsibilities:
• • Analyze and optimize fabrication processes including welding, laser cutting, bending, and assembly.
• • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• • Support the introduction of new technologies and automation solutions to improve efficiency and consistency.
• • Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
• • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• • Lead internal audits and support external audits (e.g., ISO 9001).
• • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and process changes.
• • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• • Work closely with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality and process issues.
• • Train staff on quality procedures and process improvements.
• • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
• • Lead or participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.

Nasze wymagania

• Qualifications:
• • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• • Minimum 3 years of experience in a stainless steel manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably with stainless steel.
• • Strong understanding of welding methods for stainless steel (TIG, MIG, etc.), laser cutting and metal bending processes.
• • Experience with production automation and robotic welding systems.
• • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• • Proficient in using measurement tools, inspection techniques, and statistical analysis.
• • Good command of both English and Polish – verbal and written.
• • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• • Experience with CAD/CAM software and ERP systems.
• • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Required Skills & Attributes:
• · 2-4 years in a similar planning function, ideally from a manufacturing or assembly background
• · Ideally with a background in NetSuite, but certainly proficient in ERP system usage.
• · Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• · Fluent in both verbal and written English is a must.
• · A team player with excellent inter personal skills and able to build good working relationships.
• · Able to work on own initiative.
