About the project

• We are seeking a Java Developer with strong cloud experience to join an agile engineering team working on modern, scalable applications. You will take part in developing backend services in a GCP environment, contributing to both coding and architectural decisions.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications in a GCP environment
• Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality code aligned with business goals
• Integrate various systems and services, ensuring smooth communication between them
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews
• Explore and incorporate AI technologies where relevant
• Stay organized and proactive while working through the team’s backlog

Our requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience in Java development
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and its services (GKE, GCP Storage, Compute Engine)
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture and messaging tools (Kafka)
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases (MS SQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit) and DevOps tools
• Understanding of GCP fundamentals and modern cloud development practices
