About the project

  • We are looking for an exceptional and driven Expert Project Manager to take the lead on one of our most strategic and high-impact initiatives – the global transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.This is a pivotal role in our transformation journey, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver a business-critical program with global visibility. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP implementation and project management, paired with a strong record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects in international settings. Success in this role will require outstanding stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and C-level executives.

Your responsibilities

  • Project Management: Provide professional project management and coordinate the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Continuously monitor project progress and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all project phases.
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to project scope, quality standards, and objectives through close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders exercising a strong and consistent stakeholder relation management.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Provide consistent and goal-oriented leadership to interdisciplinary project teams, fostering strong identification with aligned goals and collaboration between IT, FI, HR and business units.
  • Workstream Integration: Align overlapping workstreams, manage dependencies, and drive solution-oriented collaboration that balances stakeholder interests and delivers agreed outcomes.
  • Communication Management: Moderate on point discussions. Ascertain closed communication loops by following through on discussions and conclusively addressing open points.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and present high-impact reports and updates for top management, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Technical Oversight: Coordinate the development and quality assurance of technical concepts and system designs, including specifications and functional documentation.
  • Provider Management: Collaborate closely with external service providers to ascertain that defined deliverables are implemented according to plan.

Our requirements

  • Project Experience: At least 6 years of proven success in managing and implementing international IT ERP projects, with a strong focus on S/4HANA cloud migration.
  • Expertise in Project Controlling: Expert knowledge in time and resource planning, cost calculation, and benefits realization analysis.
  • Professional Background; Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification, proven professional project management experience or certification (ideally PMP, PgMP, or equivalent).
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills paired with a strategic, conceptual mindset—capable of breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions and driving effective change management across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Skilled in operating at the interface between business and Corporate Functions including IT, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and confidently to different audiences.
  • Work Ethic & Organization: Structured, independent, and reliable working style, complemented by flexibility and strong organizational talent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities - fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Methodological Competence: Broad experience in formal project management, including planning, controlling, and monitoring using both classic and agile methodologies.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel 4 days per month on average and within Europe.
