Your responsibilities

  • Use the defined standards of value definition and tracking within the organization to help business stakeholders define value offerings of a program and help set up the same within the tool of choice in the organization.
  • Act as a consultant for programs and projects to define best practices around value management as well as the quarterly business planning while ensuring that both processes work together seamlessly.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the quarterly business prioritization process by partnering with Initiative/Journey Owners and Program Managers to plan and execute QBP cycles per governance guidelines (evaluate business cases, product increment objectives and roadmaps, align strategies, etc.)
  • Consolidate materials from Journey/Product Owners and where needed, support with writing and challenging submitted content. Make sure use of defined business value to support decision-making in the prioritization process. Prepare and present reports summarizing prioritization outcomes, highlighting key strategic initiatives and their expected impact.
  • Facilitate the Squads syncs, QBP Markets as well as QBP Sign off process in line with governance guidelines to make sure a high-quality update to the leadership team and prepare the basis for the BRP (Big Room Planning).
  • Drive the alignment of multiple Journeys/Products, help to optimize the cross-product prioritization for AXA XL and develop strategic execution plans. Provide analysis and recommendations to leadership regarding the value being generated by programs/projects in order to maintain a clear line of sight on prioritization and erosion of value.
  • Foster strong relationships with Business stakeholders, Product owners, and Journey owners to build initiative roadmaps and track progress towards milestones during execution.
  • Conduct regular meetings and workshops to gather input, address concerns, and communicate priorities effectively. Act as a bridge between different teams to make sure a unified understanding of strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the quarterly prioritization process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and streamline workflows.
  • Within this role, you may be needed to focus on a particular region from time-to-time basis business priorities and help critical programs ramp up/monitor their value delivery via central Masterplanning.

Our requirements

  • University degree or higher
  • Fluency in English is a must (at least C1 level)
  • Previous experience of working within the insurance industry
  • Analytical approach with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding skills in Excel, including Marcos/VBA
  • Excellent capability to contextualize numbers in the wider context
  • Good visualisation and presentation skills, such as powerpoint
  • Ability to easily flex with changing workloads and prioritisation
  • Ability to engage across business functions and business stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, people skills with an ability to collaborate and work self-directed at home, in the local office or another AXA XL office
  • Capacity to interact inside the team and with stakeholders from various seniority levels
  • Proven detailed orientation, coordination, organization and facilitation skills, with a proclivity toward consistency and simplicity
  • Inquisitive mind and courage to discuss the status quo
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Package, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills

Optional

  • Experience with Power BI and Planview of advantage
  • Skills in Excel Power Query reporting and SQL
  • Experience working at AXA XL
  • Knowledge of SaFE framework is optimal
