Your responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of master data team (2,3 people) and outsourcing partner
• Monitor master data team's and outsourcing partner’s performance
• Provide support and guidance to team members
• Manage team (setting goals, conducting performance evaluations of employees, leading team meetings)
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports
• Review and resolve master data inquiries
• Approve process documentation
• Ensure compliance with the Group’s controls, policies and procedures
• Maintain close cooperation with the business in order to monitor the status of operations
• Support internal and external audit
• Continuously look to identify areas in the process that can be improved and standardized to drive efficiency
• Provide root cause analysis and support solution finding in case of operational issues
• Escalations management
• SOX control supervision
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Our requirements

• University degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field, a professional certificate in accounting would be an advantage
• A minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience in shared service operations, ideally combined with the governance of (partially) outsourced activities
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• The working language is English which has to be fully mastered; good knowledge of any other major EMEA language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish) would be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of SAP ERP, experience with Oracle would be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel, experience with Alteryx would be an advantage
• Ability to work with large datasets
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently
• Willingness to adapt to changing processes and learn new tools and systems
• Effective time management in order to meet deadlines
