Manage all aspects of the component repairs process for both our Poland and UK operations
Manage UK workshop and overseeing a team of Repairs Administrators who obtain quotes, liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers, through to completing purchases
Create a repairs team in Poland, coordinate and lead the existing 3 UK repairs administrators
Be pivotal in ensuring a cohesive and structured approach across both sites
Provide an on-site link to key staff within our Polish 3rd party repair organisation to facilitate and drive key deliverables to our sales teams
Ensure that with all MROs we engage with, repair timelines are achieved at minimum cost, margins are protected, and they are delivering the highest quality product possible
Ensure that piece part components required for next higher assembly repairs are procured from our global supplier base at the best possible price, are delivered on time, in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with the correct certification paperwork
Provide support to repairs administrators and liaise with MROs on complex issues
Offer expert advice to all team members and customers alike by offering solutions and delivering resolutions
Elevate the customer experience with airlines, lessors, MROs, and brokers
Provide a “service” to the sales teams, delivering on key metrics
Actively look at innovative ways of reducing costs in all end-to-end stages of the repair management process
Be instrumental in the development of supplier relations
Attend industry conventions to represent and promote our operations
Foster and champion a process of continuous improvement in our procedures
Drive staff development through appraisals, identification of skills gaps, and delivering the training needs required
Integrate and collaborate with all levels and faces of the company
Our requirements
The successful candidate must have excellent spoken and written English
The successful candidate should ideally be able to use their technical expertise, contacts, and industry wide knowledge to monetise and enhance our huge existing inventory of stock and our future acquisitions.
The successful candidate will be able to integrate, collaborate and offer support to other facets of the company by driving sales, promoting our brand, enhancing our reputation, and extending our customer base with airlines, MROs, and brokers.
