Your responsibilities

• You will join the operations team as a Transport Planner.
• You are responsible for scheduling drivers in the most profitable way, considering:
• o Minimize operational costs (empty kms, most optimal combinations, waiting hours, customer opening hours, booked time slots and closing trains).
• o Customer service expectations to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction.
• A daily follow-up of all drivers is necessary to keep everything on track. You are in daily contact with drivers, subcontractors and other operational departments in Genk (BE) and Novara (IT) to pursue the highest possible service level for customers.
• Further you take care of the correct administrative processing of the transport in our TMS system so that a constant follow-up of all resources is possible as well as correct invoicing.
• You optimize routing of our units across Europe via multi-modal solutions (rail and ferry) for both our bulk and packed loading equipment.
• In this position, you report to the Team Leader Intermodal.
• The position is a full-time employment based on our Katowice office.

Our requirements

• You are looking for a big dose of responsibility, kick up that dose of daily stress that planning brings and solving problems proactively is natural for you.
• You have strong communication skills, logical reasoning ability, a positive attitude.
• You are analytically strong and are a great team player.
• You have completed a bachelor's degree in logistics. Professional experience in a similar position is a plus.
• You have strong geographical knowledge. You have knowledge of driving and resting times, CMR and ADR legislation within Europe and the UK.
• You have a very good knowledge of English in word and writing. Knowledge of German, French and/or Italian is a big plus.
• You know perfectly well MS Office.
