Your responsibilities

• Supporting the Finance Director in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly management accounts, and other ad-hoc reports for unit management, in alignment with group policies.
• Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes for our operations in Poland, Ukraine, and Asian markets.
• Ensuring compliance with the Group accounting policy and maintaining the chart of accounts.
• Conducting ad hoc analyses and reconciliations of the general ledger as needed.
• Preparing annual financial statements, tax declarations (including VAT, CIT, WHT), and reports for the management board.
• Supervising a dedicated accounting team of three members, ensuring effective workflow and accurate reporting.
• Providing substantive and operational support to the team in their daily activities.
• Communicating and cooperating with external institutions, including the Tax Office, NBP, GUS, Intrastat, and auditors.
• Continuously monitoring regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices

Employer requirements

• University Degree in the field of Economics and / or Finance / Accounting
• Proven track record of managing accounting in at least a mid-size international company with an industrial or manufacturing profile
• Experience in small or mid-size team management
• Track record in representing the company in front of authorities, governmental bodies and auditors would be a plus
• In-depth Tax knowledge (including withholding tax), excellent knowledge related to polish GAAP, very good understanding of accounting processes
• Experience in working with ERP systems
• Strong leadership and management abilities
• Excellent English knowledge
