About the project

• We are seeking an Intermediate Manual QA Engineer with a primary focus on Android applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Workplace: Warsaw (at least 4 days per week in the office)
• This position is primarily focused on Android QA for our Android team, but may also involve iOS application testing, with the possibility of a 50/50 split between Android and iOS work.

Your responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of Android applications, including hands-on integration testing with the fitness device, requiring basic physical movements and exercise routines.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through the entire development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and design test plans.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected by new features.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to provide testing insights.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases and test results.
• Contribute to process improvements and suggest best practices for testing methodologies.

Our requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing, specifically for Android applications.
• Willingness and physical ability to perform minimal fitness activities and basic exercises during end-to-end testing with the device.
• Proficiency in using various testing tools and bug tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing processes.
• Experience writing detailed test cases and test plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
