Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative who is a results-driven individual to join our Mid-Market team for Nielsen in Poland. The mid-market team works with challenger brands, disruptive businesses, and high growth advertisers. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets across an assigned book of business. Your main responsibility will be to drive education and adoption of Nielsen solutions, building strong relationships with challenger brands and high growth advertisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving revenue targets across your book of business in the Mid-Market team.

  • Responsible for driving scalable revenue streams

  • Identify opportunities for your vertical(s) to grow the Mid-Market business.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including post-sales servicing, customer success, marketing, product, and finance, to align sales efforts with company objectives.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strong partnerships to expand Nielsen’s presence and market share amongst brands in your specific category.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients including agencies, and advertisers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Experience of coaching others in the team.

  • Keep up to date with market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify areas for growth and innovation.

  • Forecast sales performance, track progress and provide regular updates to the EMEA leadership team.

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in sales, preferably in the media, data, or analytics industry.

  • Demonstrable experience in new business development.

  • A proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Established network of senior relationships with marketing decision makers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

  • Strong business acumen and proven experience of strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable presenting to and negotiating with partners of all levels and groups.

  • Ability to navigate complex businesses and manage multiple projects with both short and long sales cycles.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international commercial environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
