PROJECT INFORMATION:Industry: BankingRemuneration: up to 110 PLN/H net + VAT, depending on the experienceType of assignment: B2B contractDuration of assignment: long-termPrimary Locations: Tricity, Warsaw or Łódź - occasional visits in the officeLanguages: Polish and EnglishResponsibilities:Data Ingestion & Management: Ingest data from various sources into the Hadoop ecosystem using the ARC Ingestion Framework.Operational Support: Monitor and maintain data ingestion pipelines in a production environment. Prepare and test configurations for new and ingested data sources.Issue Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve issues related to data ingestion and processing to minimize downtime.Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile (Scrum) team processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Cloud Involvement: Although the primary framework operates on-prem, some PoC initiatives may involve cloud environments. Basic knowledge of cloud operations (CLI/Web Console) will be useful.Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in the ingestion process, particularly in terms of automation and optimization.

Kogo poszukujemy? Requirements:Strong experience with Linux systems, including basic knowledge of command-line tools (equivalent to RHCSA).Good knowledge of Bash for scripting and automation tasks.Ability to write SQL queries for managing and manipulating data, basic Python.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code and configurations.Understanding of various configuration file formats.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in Agile teams, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.Good English communication skills for collaboration with team members, business stakeholders, and external partners.Basic knowledge of cloud operations (CLI/Web Console) will be a plus, as some PoC initiatives may require involvement in cloud environments.
