  • Enterprise DevOps Expertise: Proven experience in a DevOps role within a complex international enterprise environment.
  • Scripting Competence: Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell, enabling you to automate and optimize critical processes.
  • Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Hands-on experience managing both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, databases, Active Directory, authentication procedures, and license maintenance.
  • OS Mastery: Advanced knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • User Support Champion: Proven experience in providing exceptional user support and familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
  • Agile Enthusiasm: Knowledge of agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and expertise in product backlog management and prioritization.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: A solution-oriented mindset, with a drive to continuously improve processes and resolve challenges.
  • Fluent English: Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Solid Educational Foundation: A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, that demonstrates your ability to understand complex IT systems and processes.

Your responsibilities

We're seeking a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join us in optimizing our development pipeline, ensuring seamless delivery, and enhancing the performance of our crucial PLM systems.
  • Empower Developers: Be the go-to expert for our software developers, providing responsive support, resolving incidents, implementing feature enhancements, and conducting thorough testing.
  • Master Hybrid Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our on-premise and cloud-based backend and frontend infrastructure supporting critical PLM products, including servers, databases, Active Directory, authentication procedures and license maintenance
  • Automation Guru: Leverage your Python and PowerShell scripting skills to automate key tasks, including software deployment via SCCM, streamlining processes and maximizing efficiency.
  • Pipeline Architect: Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins pipelines to orchestrate automated builds, tests, and deployments, ensuring continuous delivery.
  • Vendor Contact: Collaborate with external vendors, managing contracts, licenses, and relationships to ensure optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Knowledge Champion: Contribute to our collective knowledge base by documenting processes, procedures and solutions using tools like Wiki, Confluence, and JIRA.
