A solid understanding of integration patterns, including both API-first and event-driven styles.
Experience with various integration technologies or platforms (commercial or open-source).
Ability to modernize legacy integration approaches using abstraction layers.
Practical experience with cloud-based integration tools (iPaaS) like MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, SnapLogic, Tray.io, or Confluent.
Familiarity with CI/CD automation, testing frameworks, and observability tooling and methodologies.
Development experience with modern languages – helpful for extending iPaaS platforms when needed.
Effective communication skills in English.

Your responsibilities
Contributing to the full lifecycle of our integration platform – from design and build, to deployment and operations.
Delivering and configuring the platform and supporting product teams who use it.
Defining integration standards and patterns to guide how we connect systems at VELUX.
Participating in real integration workload delivery – showing what “great” looks like in practice.
Supporting onboarding of new teams to the platform through documentation, automation, and direct guidance.
Establishing frameworks for automated testing and applying observability to ensure integrations are resilient and traceable.
Collaborating closely with the Integration Platform Architect and Owner to shape and deliver on the roadmap.
