Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture or data engineering
• Deep knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
• Experience with Apache Beam, Cloud Composer, and data orchestration
• Solid understanding of cloud security (IAM, DLP, VPC-SC)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Proficiency in CI/CD and version control for data workflows
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Fluency in German (spoken and written)
• Willingness to work onsite in Germany
• Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) or equivalent GCP certification required

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native data architectures using GCP
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like Dataflow, Dataproc, and Apache Beam
• Enable both batch and real-time data processing
• Apply data governance, IAM, and compliance frameworks
• Integrate machine learning capabilities (Vertex AI, AutoML, TensorFlow)
• Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
• Set up CI/CD processes for data pipelines (Cloud Build, GitOps)
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders on architecture design
