Experience managing product development, not leading the engineering team directly.
A solid understanding of and willingness to be vocal about tech limitations.
The ability to recommend, based on arguments, when it does not make sense to build a particular solution but rather seek other, e.g., operational, solutions. The capability to set key KPIs for the Business goal/challenge and assess if and why success is reached.
A proactive attitude in contributing to company-wide initiatives (i.e., AI transformation, App First) and actively seeking new opportunities to raise the bar.

Convincing your environment to support and follow your proposals using valid, organization-goal-oriented arguments.
Acting as a true thought partner and peer for corresponding Engineering Managers and UX Design counterparts (e.g., for collaborative prioritization, improving team processes).
