We're looking for a CloudOps Engineer to join a long-term project with one of our client's - a well established provider of safety solutions for logistics sector, operating mainly in US and Canada. The CloudOps Engineer will join a Cloud Engineering & Infrastructure team and work with a medium-sized R&D organization (around 100 engineers) and be responsible mainly for design, build, and maintain Cloud (Azure) core infrastructure.

We are looking for a highly qualified individual with technical knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and good English skills.

Our client operates in US timezones (EST), but remains flexibile in terms of working hours, requiring only 4h overlap for the purpose of business meetings & syncs (max 20:00 Polish time)

🔷 Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Cloud (Azure) core infrastructure and services that support application delivery

• Ensure efficient management of cloud assets through automation (Terraform/Ansible) and observability tools.

• Bridge the gap between development and operations by automating repeatable delivery practices.

• Maintain and test cloud patching procedures, contract renewals and disaster recovery across environments

• Ensure cloud backup compliance and recovery procedures effectiveness

• Manage deprecation of services and resources in the cloud.

• Provide continuous re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, availability, and security (vulnerability assessments)

🎯 Requirements:

• Min. 3 years of experience as Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (or similar)

• Strong experience and understanding of Azure Cloud infrastructure including maintaining large-scale and distributed systems.

• Building reusable and scalable infrastructure components and automation (Infrastructure as Code) via Terraform.

• Ability to share your knowledge, experiences and opinions on the forum via technology demos / brainstorming sessions

• Willingness to take initiative, challenge the situation and drive projects to completion without direct supervision

• Experience with developing & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions)

• Fluent verbal and written skills in English (B2+)

• Familiarity with tools (Copilot studio, Github Copilot Enterprise, SafeGPT) will be a plus

• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python or Powershell will be a plus
