• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or other related fields
• hands-on experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications using modern technology stacks such as Java/Kotlin,
• Kafka experience
• microservice architecture experience
• knowledge of Spring frameworks
• the ability to naturally follow good development practices like test automation, CI/CD, source version control, etc
• experience with development for and deployment to AWS
• product-oriented mindset - proactivity to build high-quality products
• software engineering mindset - eagerness to learn new technologies if required
• good communication skills (English is a must)
• Big Data experience is a great asset

Your responsibilities

1. develop user-facing Kontakt.io Apps
2. define data models and work with database systems like MongoDB and Postgres
3. establish connectivity with third-party systems using modern integrations technologies like RESTful APIs, WSS Streams, Webhooks, Kafka streams
4. iterate with product owners and designers to refine high-quality software that will meet users' requirements
5. build modular and reusable components and libraries
6. write and maintain documentation
