Requirements description

Must have:

  • 1–2 years of experience with Linux distributions (mid-level competence)
  • Strong expertise in installation, configuration, and management of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
  • Good understanding of API management and system integrations
  • Advanced scripting skills for Atlassian administration (Groovy or JavaScript)
  • Solid system scripting skills (Python, Bash preferred)
  • Experience with cloud migration (on-prem to SaaS), preferably AWS
  • English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Ability to analyze monitoring and performance data for troubleshooting and optimization
  • ITIL4-Foundation certification or equivalent
  • German language skills (advantageous)

Project Description:

Our client, a leading German company in the telecommunications and IT services sector, specializing in advanced solutions such as web hosting, cloud computing, and internet services, is opening a European Technology Center in Poland.

As part of their expansion, they are looking for a specialist responsible for the administration of internal IT solutions, with a focus on Atlassian products and cloud services.

Team Structure:

The team is currently being established and will include a Product Owner (planned to be located at the ETC) and two System Administrators. The team is supported by a partner team responsible for process management and IT governance.

Your responsibilities

  1. Administration, configuration, and optimization of internal IT products, primarily Atlassian software (Jira, Confluence) and cloud solutions
  2. Ensuring smooth system operation, maximum availability, and data integrity
  3. Providing technical support to users and implementing best practices
  4. Automating administrative tasks via scripting (Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Bash)
  5. Participating in migration from on-premise environments to SaaS solutions (preferably AWS)
  6. Analyzing monitoring and performance data to identify issues and optimization opportunities
