Requirements description

Position Overview: As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our platform’s capabilities by developing and refining machine learning models that drive accurate forecasting, event analysis, data-driven decision-making, and more. You will collaborate closely with product owners and engineering teams to implement scalable AI solutions that deliver actionable insights to our clients.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience as an AI/ML Engineer or Data Scientist with a strong focus on predictive modeling and data analysis. Practical experience in deploying and maintaining ML models at an industrial scale
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C#.
• Experience working with time series data, forecasting models, and event-driven analytics.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and its applications in query optimization.
• Experience with large datasets and data preprocessing. Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with new tools.
• Proficiency in English (B2+).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience with A/B testing and other experimental design methodologies.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus but not required.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, implement, train, and fine-tune machine learning models that handle large datasets. Examples of the models are: Forecasting models based on economic trends, consumer behavior, and millions of internal and external data points, including 10+ years of historical data, holidays, weather, and more; Models for ordering suggestions that forecast demand trends and improve inventory control.
2. Contribute to architectural decisions regarding the choice of frameworks and tech stacks for solutions.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product owners, to align AI/ML capabilities with business goals.
4. Develop natural language processing models, integrating open-source and commercial LLMs(e.g., GPT-4, Cohere) for content generation and personalization.
5. Lead experiments to assess the latest advancements in AI/ML and adapt them to our product needs.
