Your responsibilities

• Leading, managing and developing a team of mechanical engineers and CAx designers
• Creating and implementing strategic plans for Mechanical Department in alignment with global R&D organization
• Realization of product projects with special focus on budget, quality and schedule
• Cooperation and communication with other departments to assure proper integration of developed modules and parts
• Continues improvement of running processes and development methods to improve department’s performance and outcome
• Identifying and exploring new technologies in cooperation with internal and external suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Our requirements

• Completed technical studies, e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronic or similar
• Work experience in: leadership, team management, project management
• Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering approach would be an additional asset
• Very good communication skills, able to work in complex project organization in a structured way, initiative and analytical thinking is expected
• Ability to identify and solve complex technical and project-related issues
• Fluent English or/and German is a must
