About the project

• From Data to Decisions – Make an Impact in the Financial Sector!
• As a Data Warehouse Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading institution in the financial sector focused on driving digital transformation and data-centric decision-making. You will join a dynamic team supporting both strategic projects and Business-as-Usual development within a corporate Data Warehouse environment. Your mission will be to analyze, model, and coordinate data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and business users, ensuring data accuracy, relevance, and integration across platforms.
• Warsaw/ Wrocław based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day in the office/week)

Your responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into data specifications
• Define target data models for upcoming changes
• Identify and document source-to-target data mappings
• Create and validate SQL-based prototypes based on defined templates
• Collaborate with developers to support the implementation process
• Test developed solutions for accuracy and performance
• Coordinate tasks and timelines related to change implementation
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data warehouse architecture
• Ensure data quality and consistency across all layers

Our requirements

• Very good knowledge of SQL in any relational database technology
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and methodologies
• Experience working as a data or business analyst in data-driven environments
• Proven background in data modeling for analytical and operational systems
• Ability to map business requirements to technical specifications
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverable

Optional

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Databricks
• Experience working in the financial or banking sector
