About the project

• As Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of configuration items (CIs) and their relationships. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all assets and configurations are properly documented, tracked, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

• Configuration Management: Maintain and manage the CMDB, ensuring that all CIs are accurately recorded and updated. This includes hardware, software, and network components.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes and procedures for configuration management. Continuously improve these processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations related to configuration management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT, procurement, and finance, to ensure that all configurations are properly managed and maintained.
• Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on configuration management activities. Provide insights and recommendations based on these reports.
• Incident and Change Management: Support incident and change management processes by providing accurate and up-to-date configuration information.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on configuration process and tools.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in configuration management, preferably in an IT service management environment.
• Excellent English and German communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in deployment, configuration, or administration of the ServiceNow platform, familiarity with system automations, table topology and integration architecture
