Your responsibilities

• Monitoring transport orders, supervising timeliness and implementation on previously specified terms
• Planning optimal transport routes considering costs and available fleet
• Analyzing the qualifications of the subordinate team of carriers, controlling drivers’ working hours in accordance with applicable regulations
• Planning and settling costs of the subordinate team of carriers
• Establishing and developing relationships with new suppliers and ensuring a high standard of service for current business partners
• Maintaining correct communication with the customer, respecting previously developed solutions and synergy of new transport alternatives
• Creating and analyzing reports on operational efficiency, market analysis and competition behavior, financial and analytical reports
• Participation in creating the annual budget and supervising its implementation
• Cooperation with the Logistics department (production and warehouse), consolidated activities with branches of other regions, support of the Security, HR and accounting departments
• Implementing training for new drivers and standardizing newly implemented transport processes
• Providing the subordinate team with a safe working environment, compliance with health and safety regulations, fire protection and environmental shield

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, relevant experience
• At least 3+ years of experience in the transport industry in a similar position
• High skills in team management
• Very good knowledge of the road transportation, intermodal, FTL & LTL network
• Proficiency in the Office package, and knowledge of TMS/GPS systems
• Ability to analyze and optimize transport costs
• Communication skills, good organization and work culture
• Availability and responsibility and resistance to stress
• Communicative knowledge of English
• A Certificate of Professional Competence in Transport is welcome
