Your responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services,
• Participate in legacy-to-modern stack transitions,
• Work closely with frontend and QA teams,
• Maintain high code quality and test coverage,
• Take part in architecture discussions.

Our requirements

• 6+ years of experience as Java Developer,
• Strong in Java (11+), Spring Boot, REST,
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL (MySQL, MongoDB),
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, Docker,
• Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito),
• Agile development mindset,
• English: B2 or higher.

Optional

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Involvement in legacy system refactoring and modernization projects (e.g., JSF, JBoss)
• Familiar with secure coding and data protection principles
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
• Experience with content repositories (e.g., Apache JackRabbit)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)
• Awareness of observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
