As a Senior Software Engineer you will deliver business value through the management of IT products including execution of change projects for all Finance departments. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of change projects in this area as well as maintenance of our evergreen financial products.

How you will get the job done

• being responsible for implementing solutions using Microsoft technologies (Visual Studio, .NET, .NET Core, SQL Entity Framework, SQL Server, MS Azure) and frontend technologies (Vue, TypeScript) and UI framework (Vuetify)
• designing and coding of complex product changes following architecture and coding guidelines, including the provision of technical documentation for developed solutions
• being responsible for adhering to appropriate standards (coding, performance, monitoring capability, audit acceptability, secure environment)
• planning and executing tests, creating unit tests, and automating regression tests
• supporting of product upgrades and ensuring smooth release transitions, especially to Vue v.3
• provisioning of technical application support, resolving incidents and problems; collaborating on bug fixes and changes in .NET Core APIs
• leverage understanding of the insurance industry and reserving to drive meaningful solutions
• mapping of business requirements to systems/technical requirements
